Scan First

Scanning never deletes anything.

Scanners only measure, using allocated blocks with hard links counted once, so the numbers are honest. Cleaning is a separate step with explicit commands, no shell, and confirmation for anything destructive.

Features

What LCleaner does

🧹

17 cleaners

Pacman cache and orphans, AUR build cache, npm, pip, cargo, Flatpak runtimes, old kernels and more.

🍩

Where the space went

An animated donut of reclaimable space and a ranked list of the folders using your disk.

🦀

Cargo target finder

Finds stray Rust build directories, and only deletes folders with real cargo build markers.

🔐

Least privilege

Asks for root only when a cleaner needs it, through run0, then pkexec, then sudo.

🗂

Duplicates and history

A duplicate file finder plus scan history that shows how each cache grew.

⏱

Scheduled auto-clean

A systemd user timer with one toggle per cleaner, and a log of every clean.
